In addition to the main conference, Ariba will also be staging an interactive Spend Management Strategy Workshop.

This Workshop is aimed at Procurement Executives and Directors and is open to all attendees to Ariba LIVE UK 05. However, due to the nature of this Workshop and the desire to have an open discussion forum, we are unfortunately unable to extend the invitation to Ariba Partners or other procurement or sourcing consultancies.

Overview

Using innovative and engaging dialogue techniques, this session will help you to apply a strategic framework to analyse and define opportunities for transforming Spend Management within your organisation.

Aimed at procurement executives, the session will provide the opportunity to work with peers, share insights and knowledge in a dynamic and highly productive way. Together, you will build a picture of best practice; ideas for overcoming organisational barriers and creating board level buy-in to new strategic approaches to Spend Management excellence.

How to define key strategic opportunities for transforming Spend Management
How to build the business case for strategic Spend Management
How to identify and manage organisational change issues that result from a strategic approach to Spend Management
How to balance resources and priorities in order to create short term wins and long term value

What will it be like?

The aim of the session is to tap into, and work with, the collective talents and knowledge of attendees. As such, briefing will be minimal and the majority of the session will be given over to dialogue sessions in small groups, who will be equipped with stimulus tools to maximise outputs. It should be both fun and engaging!

The input from delegates will be consolidated and produced as a ‘strategy map’ – a tool that will help you to plan and think in new ways about the future of Spend Management within your organisation

Logistical Details

This session will take place immediately after the main conference at about 15:00 and is expected to last 2-3 hours. Due to the interactive nature of the session, places will be kept to a minimum and will be charged at £200 per attendee.
